About Us
We’re locally owned and have served the NYC Metro Area, Nassau, and Suffolk County for over 50 years. We offer Portable Fire Extinguisher Services, High Pressure Cylinder Hydro Testing, Welding Gas Service, Clean Agent Systems, Refurbishing of Cylinders, . . . and all of these services are performed in our own facility.
Our story began in 1970 with the dream of Volunteer Firefighter, Kenneth Hahn, to provide exceptional fire suppression services with a focus on safety and integrity. As the fire suppression needs and local requirements have changed, so have the products and services offered by Ken-Mar Fire Extinguisher. Our number one goal is to provide services that help to keep our community safe.
